Smorgasburg

I love Smorgasburg. Every year when it opens it’s like mouth Chanukah & Christmas for me.  They launched in 2011 as a seasonal weekend food festival at two locations in Brooklyn. They house over 100 local food vendors from every type of cuisine you could imagine. The first time I went I literally couldn’t believe this was happening to me. You can get Mexican, Chinese, BBQ, Italian, & a coffee within 15 feet of each other. That's really all I need in life, besides occasional sex.

Since 2011 Smorgasburg has expanded to several locations. You can now find them in Williamsburg & Prospect Park from April-November yearly. Smorgasburg also runs a pop-up beer garden at the Seaport District and oversees the concessions at Central Park Summer Stage. In 2014 they opened Berg', a permanent food court in Crown Heights. Many of the vendors who participate in Smorgasburg have become so successful that they opened one or several permanent locations of their own.

This is one of the greatest culinary attractions that we have in NYC. You can sample all the best fast casual food we have to offer and never leave the lawn.  Check out what you’ll be eating:
